The events listed are 2007. Our 2008 schedule is being finalized and will not vary much from the listing below. Thank you for your patience.

All Day Trips & Overnight Excursion arrival times are shown approximate.

When a vessel is shown on a special event away from our Lock C5 location, that vessel will not be available on the date noted at Lock C5 for the regular seasonal schedule.

May 2008

Saturday, May 12th – Canal Fest
M/V SADIE in Waterford, NY. Trips from Waterford Visitors Center all day, 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

Sunday, May 13th – Opening Day & Mother’s Day
M/V CALDWELL BELLE only at Lock C5, Saratoga, NY. Moms ride for ½ price. Schuyler Island Lock Trip: 1:00 PM. Two Fort Miller cruises: 2:30 & 4:00 PM. No M/V SADIE operation.

Monday, May 28th – Memorial Day
Veterans and all active military personnel ride free. M/V SADIE excursions from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Three Fort Miller cruises on M/V CALDWELL BELLE: 1:00, 2:30, & 4:00 PM.

June 2008

Sunday, June 17th – Father’s Day
Operating at Lock C5, Saratoga, NY. Dads ride for ½ price. All rides on regular Sunday schedule.

Saturday, June 20th – “Following Lois”
Join us on the M/V CALDWELL to rendezvous with the replica sailing canal schooner Lois McClure as she travels south down the Hudson on her historic trip to Buffalo, NY. Contact us at (518) 695-5609 for details.

Saturday, June 27th – Overnight Excursion #1: Troy, NY
M/V CALDWELL BELLE to Whitehall, NY. Leave at 9:00 AM. Breakfast and lunch on board. Arrive approx, 2:00 PM. Exclusive guided tour of the famous Tiffany windows of downtown Troy. Dinner and hotel in Troy. Return on Sunday. Choose full excursion or one way with bus/van transportation back to Saratoga on Saturday.

Sunday, June 28th – Optional Tour
Leave hotel at 8:45 AM. Guided tour through old Troy Savings Bank building. See the room used during the financing of the Civil War ship, the Monitor. Explore the stunning architecture of downtown Troy.

Sunday, June 28th – Overnight Excursion #1 Return
M/V CALDWELL BELLE returns from Troy, NY. Leave at 10:00 AM. Breakfast and lunch on board. Arrive at approx. 3:00 PM. One way passage available with bus/van transportation back to Troy.

Saturday, June 30th – Steamboat Festival
M/V SADIE in Waterford, NY. Trips from Waterford Visitors Center all day, 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

July 2008

Wednesday, July 4th – Independence Day
Both the M/V Sadie and the M/V CALDWELL BELLE offer Police, firefighters, and EMTs rides for ½ price. All rides on regular Sunday schedule.

Saturday, July 7th – Fort Edward Heritage Day Festival
M/V SADIE in Fort Edward, NY. Trips from Fort Edward Yacht Basin all day, 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

Saturday, July 21st – Overnight Excursion #2: Whitehall, NY
M/V CALDWELL BELLE to Whitehall, NY. Leave at 9:00 AM. Breakfast and lunch on board. Dinner, theater, and hotel in Whitehall. Arrive at approx. 4:00 PM. Return on Sunday. Choose full excursion or one way with bus/van transportation back to Saratoga on Saturday. Make this trip fit your budget!

Sunday, July 22nd – Overnight Excursion #2 Return
M/V CALDWELL BELLE returns from Whitehall, NY. Leave at 9:00 AM. Breakfast and lunch on board. Arrive at approx. 3:30 PM. One way passage available with bus/van transportation back to Whitehall.

Friday, September 7th – Day Trip: Waterford, NY
M/V CALDWELL BELLE to Waterford, NY for Tugboat Parade. Leave at 11:00 AM. Arrive after parade at approx. 6:00 PM. Excursion includes lunch on board. Bus/Van transportation back to Saratoga.

Saturday, September 8th – Tugboat Round-up and Harbor Festival
M/V CALDWELL BELLE operates from Waterford, NY. Trips all day, 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

Sunday, September 9th – Tugboat Round-up and Harbor Festival
M/V CALDWELL BELLE operates from Waterford, NY. Trips all day, 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

Monday, September 10th – Day Trip Return
M/V CALDWELL BELLE to Saratoga, NY from Waterford, NY. Leave at 8:00 AM. Arrive at approx. 2:00 PM. Excursion includes lunch on board. Bus/Van transportation back to Waterford.

Saturday, September 15th – Hudson Crossing Festival
Visit the famous Lois McClure, Lock C5, and Lock C5 island. M/V SADIE operating all day.

Saturday, September 22nd – Overnight Excursion #4: Whitehall, NY
M/V CALDWELL BELLE to Whitehall, NY. Leave at 9:00 AM. Breakfast and lunch on board. Arrive at approx. 4:00 PM. Dinner, theater, and hotel in Whitehall. Return on Sunday. Choose full excursion or one way with bus/van transportation back to Saratoga on Saturday.
